Hi, thank you for your interest in our products. > 1) why is the assets1 folder always storing 2 copies of each image on this block? One image is for a thumbnail, and the second is for a full image.
I already sent this info to our developers. > 2) after deleting one of these blocks (not working with this particular artist anymore) the images are still in the assets1 folder. I deleted those because they are not needed anymore or linked anywhere. And still, every time I make other updates or changes and I want to view the site or upload I get error messages, asking for these images which are not neede or displayed anywhere anymore. Please remove your images from the Site Library too (open in in the media dialog when you replace some image).
Publish your site to an empty folder and check if these images are published too. User: Thanks, but this was not much of a help. 1) double images: most have only a 5k difference, e.g. 31k and 36k, which is very little. If your programmers would change it to use only one (the larger one), the code could be much simpler, the reaction faster, and it would not bloat the storage size and traffic. 2) where or what is the Site Library?
Going dircectly into the files I cannot locate this. Pro 5 los angeles. 2a) It does not really address the usability. The blocks I use have up to 40 images. It would be more than unpractical to delete all 40 images individually first and the delete the empty block afterwards.
In our case I have on one page about 30 blocks in a row, two together representing one artist. So after separating from that artist I deleted the according pair of blocks (via red trashcan) and all seemed fine. Now when I view the page while working on it or when publishing it I always get that error note (see below) which asks individually for all the image which were trashed before and which are nowhere shown or needed on the site anymore. This is annoying and wastes a lot of time working with your system. I have to click on that note now a dozen times each time I want finish my changes. 2b) The note gives the options to ignore that error or continue it seems it makes no difference for the site which one of the two buttons I click.
The difference is not explained. I am still dealing with these annoying pop up notes referring to something which is not there anymore. There are a few things I would love to see changed.
Most important the option of giving the pages individual names and the underlying blocks then too. When — what I often do — check our statistic counters I always have to guess where the visitors went too; what comes up might say “page 2 / feature 11-3v” and I can only understand when I use a reference list about which page and which block is what. In our case reading “ARTISTS / Bothne” would give me a quick and precise answer and would make the mobilize system and website much more useful and practical. I hope you can solve my problem and also enhance your website builder accordingly — it will be to the benefit of your product and all users. Take it as a report from the front line.
